A man listed in the police’s drug watch list was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in the town of Lila on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lila police identified the suspect as Eduardo Lagrosa, 35, of Barangay Jambawan in the said town.
According to Insp. Miriam Taga-amo, chief of the Lila Police Station, Lagrosa previously surrendered under Oplan Tokhang but continued to sell illegal drugs after.
This prompted authorities to set up the sting operation against him.
Operatives of the police’s intelligence section later spotted the suspect while he was allegedly selling illegal drugs.
An undercover agent then bought shabu from Lagrosa woth P2,000.
Upon his arrest, the operatives allegedly found 1.5 grams of shabu from the suspect’s possession.
Taga-amo said that the confiscated drugs was worth approximately P22,500.
Lagrosa is now detained at the Lila Police Station. He will be charged for sale of illegal drugs. (wm)
