A man listed in the Inabanga police’s drug watchlist was arrested for selling shabu on Tuesday night.
Police identified the suspect as Michael Pereno, 37, of Barangay Tungod in Inabanga.
In a report, police said that Pereno sold shabu to an undercover cop resulting in his immediate arrest at the town’s public market in Barangay Ilaud.
He was collared by combined police forces of the Inabanga Police Station, led by its chief Sr. Insp. Mercedarious Balabat III, and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
Pereno was allegedly caught in possession of 0.6 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3,000 and drug-using paraphernalia following the staged drug transaction.
The suspect is now detained at the Inabanga Police Station pending the filing of drug charges against him. (wm)
