Police on Thursday morning arrested a suspected drug dealer and two of his associates in the illegal drug trade who were allegedly caught in possession of shabu worth P413,000 in an anti-drug operation in Tagbilaran City on Thursday morning.
In a report, authorities said that a composite police team apprehended their target Jesus Navea through a drug buy-bust operation near his residence in Purok 5 Barangay Mansasa in Tagbilaran City at 11 a.m.
According to police, Navea, 39, is a newly identified drug personality.
Police identified his companions as Gabriele S. Migriño and Mark Q. Abucay who were also arrested after allegedly yielding shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities said that they found a total of 35 grams of shabu from all three suspects.
The drug haul was estimated to be worth P413,000.
Navea, Migriño and Abucay were placed under police custody pending the filing of charges against them for violations against the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
