Two men were killed and another was critically injured after two motorcycles figured in a head-on collision in Panglao on Sunday night.
The three victims were still rushed to a hospital but two of them later succumbed to their injuries, said SPO1 Manuel Rabanal.
Jovani Revilla, 31, and Jonard Cañete, 26, who were on board one motorcycle died a few hours after the accident on Sunday and Monday morning, respectively.
Christopher Cheong, 20, who was riding the opposing motorcycle meanwhile remained in critical condition.
According to Rabanal, Cheong was about to make a turn when Revilla who was heading towards the opposite direction slammed straight into him.
Authorities noted that all three victims were wearing helmets.
They however sustained severe injuries due to their high speed upon impact. (A. Doydora)
