Boholana beauty queen Karen Gallman bagged her second special award in the ongoing 47th Miss Intercontinental Pageant in Metro Manila.
Filipino-Australian Gallman, who traces her roots to Ubay, was accorded the Body Beautiful award, a special prize from the pageant’s sponsor.
She captured the special award with her walks in both her evening gown and swimsuit during the pageant’s preliminaries on Wednesday.
Gallman stood out from 80 other delegates who walked the runway in gowns and in swimsuits.
Earlier this week, Gallman was honored with another sponsored award in a separate event in Batangas.
Another pageant event will be held on Thursday at the Grand Ballroom of Okada in Parañaque City.
Japan is the host country of the 47th Miss Intercontinental pageant.
However, The Philippines has provided a venue for the organization, as Japan has its hands full in preparing for the Olympic Games in 2020.
The 47th Miss Intercontinental coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 26. (AD)
