A 32-year-old woman allegedly lost gadgets, jewelry and cash to still unidentified robbery suspects in Talibon town at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
Victim Mary Nguho, a 32-year-old student of BIT-IC Talibon and a resident of Barangay Tanghaligi, was held at gunpoint while she was driving a motorcycle in Barangay San Jose, said PO1 Bobby Oroyan of the Talibon Police Station.
The alleged robbers who were onboard a car blocked Nguho’s path while she was about to stop at a fuel station.
One of the suspects then alighted from the vehicle and pointed a still unidentified caliber pistol at her, said Oroyan.
The armed suspect allegedly took from Nguho a cellphone worth P18,000, P5,800 cash, and a silver necklace worth P4,800.
According to Oroyan, the alleged robbers immediately fled the area and headed towards Getafe town.
Police launched a hot pursuit operation but were unable to catch the perpetrators.
