Police on Tuesday arrested a woman who was allegedly caught in possession of an unlicensed firearm and illegal drugs during a raid at her home in Tagbilaran City.

Catherine Quibir, a resident of Lindaville Subdivision Phase II, was caught in possession of a .22 caliber magnum revolver, two sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia, police said.

The raid was carried out through a search warrant issued by Judge Leon Lison of the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 in Tagbilaran City for illegal possession of firearm.

According to authorities, Quibir is included in their drug watch list.

Quibir is now detained at the Tagbilaran City police lock-up facility.

She will be charged with illegal possession of firearm and drugs and violation against the Commission on Elections gun ban. (wm)
