A 3.1-magnitude earthquake shook several parts of Bohol on Thursday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.
The temblor hit five kilometers northeast of Catigbian at 10:57 a.m.
According to Phivolcs, the quake struck at a depth of 20 kilometers beneath the ground.
It was tectonic in origin.

Meanwhile, damages and aftershocks were not expected following the tremor, said Phivolcs.
