A total of 31 streets in Tagbilaran City will be closed and unpassable on Saturday afternoon for the street dance competition, one of the main highlights of the month-long Sandugo Festival.
Select streets will be closed starting 1:30 p.m. on the day of the event, based on the rerouting plan of the Tagbilaran City Traffic Managemet Office.
Streets leading to CPG Avenue starting from the Tagbilaran City East Raod up to the Tamblot Circumferential Road will be closed.
Vehicles from Baclayon will not be able to pass through the CPG East Avenue. Motorists are advised to take the Tamblot Circumferential Road in Barangay Mansasa instead to get to the central district of the city.
Those from Dauis and Panglao may still reach the city through the Tagbilaran East Road.
Meanwhile, vehicles from CPG North Avenue will not be able to enter CPG Avenue. Motorists are advised to instead take Beldorol Street and head towards Gallares Street.
The assembly area for the nine contingents joining the competition will be at the CPG East Avenue corner Butalid Street.
CPG Avenue will be reopened once the dancers leave the area and reach the CPG Sports Complex which is estimated to be at around 4 p.m. (A. Doydora)
