Tubigon police on Wednesday afternoon arrested in a drug suspect who previously surrendered under Oplan Tokhang in an anti-drug operation.

Operatives of the municipal station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the buy-bust in Brgy. Ilihan, Ubay resulting in the arrest of 23-year-old Jomar Corsiga who is a Technical Education and Skills Development Authority student.

The suspect, a resident of Brgy. Potohan in said town, was caught in possession of two packets of suspected shabu and the buy-bust money. The suspected drugs were then submitted to the Bohol crime laboratory for analysis.

Police also confiscated from Corsiga a cellphone which he used in conducting drug transactions and drug paraphernalia.

According to Tubigon police, Corsiga is a newly known drug personality in Ubay.

He is currently in Tubigon police custody while charges are set to be filed against him before the the Bohol Prosecutor’s Office. (Allen Doydora)
