Major Gen. Raul Del Rosario, commander of Armed Forces of the Philippines’ (AFP) Central Command (CentCom), assured Gov. Edgar Chatto of his support in the local government’s crackdown on criminality and drug activities.

Del Rosario who was a guest during the HEAT-IT Caravan in Maribojoc on Tuesday said that CentCom forces which oversee security operations in Visayas will extend aid in efforts to make Bohol drug-free.

The military has been supporting the Philippine National Police in its law enforcement duties as part of the national government’s blueprint in eradicating narcotics trade.

In August, President Rodrigo Duterte personally asked the Cebu-based CentCom for cooperation in his administration’s ant-drug camp while vowing to extend all out support to the said AFP unit.
