Joint operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) and Baclayon police seized 10.5 grams of suspected shabu which is estimated to be worth P123,900 from an alleged drug peddler in said town.
The police arrested suspect Jeffrey “Budlat†Cal, a resident of Brgy. Poblacion in Baclayon, through a drug raid conducted at dawn on Friday.
According to police, operatives were also able to confiscate a Smith and Wesson .38 caliber that has no serial number and drug paraphernalia.
According to Baclayon police chief Senior Insp. Jesus Daplin, Cal recently surrendered to police and admitted to involvement in illegal drug activities.

The suspect is currently detained at the Calape lock-up jail pending the filing of charges against him. (Wellie Maestrado)
