A former security guard notorious for indiscriminate and illegal firing of his service firearm was arrested by personnel of the Bohol Provincial Police Office on Sunday.
Operatives of the Provincial Public Safety Company (PPSC) and Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) team collared newly known drug suspect Hipolito Dalogdog, 42, in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City.
PPSC and SWAT chief Supt. Patricio Degay, Jr. said that Dalogdog, a resident of Brgy. San Isidro in the city, was spotted by police selling shabu in Brgy. Dampas prompting them to set up the sting operation.
The suspect was allegedly caught red-handed selling shabu worth P200 to an undercover cop during the operation resulting in his immediate arrest.
Degay noted that Dalogdog yielded two more packets of shabu and drug paraphernalia as operatives frisked the suspect.
Dalogdog is currently jailed at the detention facility of Camp Dagohoy in Tagbilaran City as authorities prepare to file drug charges against him. (Wellie Maestrado)Â
