An 80-year-old male Canadian national was found dead inside his house in Barangay Ubujan, Tagbilaran City on Friday. Police identified the fatality as Jens Pasenow, 80, who was temporarily residing at Purok 5 in said village.

Pasenow may have died of natural causes as his wife noted that he complained of being ill a few days before he was found dead.

The Canadian’s wife has been in Cebu since Saturday as she has been attending Technical Education and Skills Development Authority classes in Cebu City.

According to the attending physician, Pasenow may have succumbed to his illnesses.

She said that Pasenow was suffering from diabetes and goiter after examining his body which has already started to decompose.

Pasenow’s body was then transported to a funeral home in Tagbilaran City. (Weli Maestrado)
