The big shots of the CPP/NPA/NDF (CNN) admitted to having difficulties in their recovery efforts in Bohol.
The 2nd Special Forces Battalion revealed to having received confidential information during the latest Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) meeting in Inabanga Wednesday, in time with the HEAT IT Bohol Caravan in said town.
The culprit?
Their problem allegedly  involves the  Countrywide Development Program-Purok Power Movement (CDP-PPM) of the Provincial Government under the formidable hand of SEEM Cluster Head Liza Quirog.
In a report delivered by LTC Potenciano Camba, he informed the Council chaired by Gov. Edgar M. Chatto that CNN allied organizations led by BAYAN MUNA and Hugpong sa Mag-uumang Bol-non (HUMABOL) keep protesting against the PPM and its newly-established patrol base in Barangay San Vicente, Trinidad.
As earlier reported, the Trinidad-Talibon Integrated Farmers Association (TTIFA) and HUMABOL are also allied with the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP); hence, their collective name, TTIFA-HUMABOL-KMP.
He added that both leftist groups (BAYAN MUNA and HUMABOL) are expected to exert all their efforts just to protect TTIFA at all costs.
Col. Camba also divulged that CNN and their allied rebel  groups will  likely continue to extort money from businessmen and politicians, especially now that local and national elections are forthcoming.
This, because the CNN believes that it can influence election results through sectoral organizations and also, because it has undoubtedly decided to use intimidation for political and logistical advantages.
The Special Forces is warning the public, especially those known personalities in the political and business spectra not to give in to extortion demands, either from the CNN or other lawless elements.
The PPOC, thru Gov. Chatto, implores the Boholanos to put aside fear and to report extortion activities and all forms of criminality , if they would come to know of one for “criminal elements could only survive if good people would not do anything to stop them.â€
