An alleged drug dealer who yielded a gun and shabu with an estimated street value of P121,000 was arrested in an anti-narcotics operation in Tagbilaran City on Saturday morning.
Suspect Arnel Rayo, 24, was collared following a drug raid conducted at his residence along Upper Calceta, Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.
Operatives of the Tagbilaran City Police Station and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group allegedly found 22.5 grams of shabu and a .38 caliber during the search.
According to police, alleged drug users identified as Harold Cadenas, 20, of Loon and John Heriada, 20, of Cebu City were also arrested as the policemen served the search warrant at Rayo’s house.
Authorities noted that the operation against Rayo was set in motion after receiving a tip from an anonymous informant on the suspect’s illegal drug activities.
Rayo was also allegedly seen firing his gun indiscriminately.
Less than an hour after Rayo’s arrest, the same police team also arrested John Bahan for illegal drug possession near the location of the previous operation.
