A year prior to its projected completion, the New Bohol Airport started to have its foundations erected and runway partially completed in the resort island of Panglao. Barring any hitches, the international airport is expected to be completed in mid-2018.

In photos posted by the Municipality of Panglao in its official Facebook page, the P7.8 billion international airport appeared to have taken shape.
