A student of the University of Bohol was adjudged a finalist in the search for Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) for 2017 representing Region VII.
Dr. Janice Aurora B. Tirol, Dean of UB Student Personnel Service (SPS), bared that Ronald M. Calamba, a Civil Engineering graduate of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), qualified in the regional search for outstanding students of the Philippines.
Calamba together with other nine finalists from Region VII will advance to the national and final search of this year’s 56th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines award.
Ronald Mainit Calamba is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roberto G. Calamba of Barangay Baang, Catigbian, Bohol.
The TOSP is an annual awards program “seeking young role models of the country who have personified academic excellence, exemplary leadership and deep sense of social responsibility.”
