Sept 5, 2015 Lapu- lapu city – Â the Area 4 of Junior Chamber International Philippines recognizes JCI Bohol Chocolate Hills headed by their 2015 President Ma. Eva Eleanor Jubac for their hardwork in the efforts to create positive change during the 35th Visayas Area Conference held in Bigfoot entertainment studios, Lapulapu City Cebu. Â Together with 12 fellow JCI Chocolate Hills members, they climbed up the ladder of success, receiving two Major Awards namely Best Cultural Affairs and Best Fund Raising Project.
The Beauty Pageant held last July 18 was JCI’s Quadro  Award as Best Cultural Affairs program for having been an event that skillfully depicted the values of Junior Chamber International-  That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;  That the brotherhood of men transcends the sovereignty of nations; that economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise; that government should be of laws rather than of men; that earth’s great treasure lies in human personality and that service to humanity is the best work of life.
The local organization JCI Bohol Chocolate Hills, also aims to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. Â Â Thus another Quadro award was given for the annual Miss Teen Alay Lakad as Best Fund Raising Project, for the success of the alay lakad scholarship program and for the commitment of doubling the raised funding every year.
An annual JCI Philippines National Conference will be held in Dagupan City on October 6- 10 whereby all projects will be evaluated and awarded for this year’s Best of the Best Projects, nationwide. Â Our very own JCI Bohol Chocolate Hills will once again, be one of the challengers to this conference and hope to bring home more awards.
