These can be conducted on Saturdays with the approval from the DepEd, said Deligero.
As stipulated in DepEd Order No. 25, schools are expected to have 195 class days throughout the schoolyear.

The same DepeEd order mandates the conduct of make-up classes to replace suspensions due to official fiestas and calamities with the approval of school officials and parent-teacher associations.
According to Deligero, semestral break starts next week and only teachers are expected to be in school for the midyear assessment and in-service training from October 23 to 27.
Meanwhile, quarterly exams are set to be administered on October 19 and 20, he said. (Rey Tutas)
