The office of the Metro Credit Financing Corporation allegedly lost P70,000 in cash and checks to burglars who broke into its office inside the Apostol Building in Tagbilaran City in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Office manager Clifford Coresis, 34, of Barangay Lanidcan, Baclayon told police that he found the office’s steel lock and rollup door forcibly opened when he arrived in the morning of the same day.
Locks of the office’s two vaults which contained the money were destroyed as well allowing the suspect to take the cash and checks, he said.
