A construction worker landed in the hospital after he was stabbed by his coworker at their bunkhouse in Barangay Booy in Tagbilaran City on Sunday night.

Police identified the victim as Ronald Linaban, a laborer of CCM Construction and a native of Barangay Hinlayagan, Trinidad.

According to Danilo Ballozos, a coworker of Linaban and suspect Philmar Limasac, both men figured in a fistfight which stemmed from a heated argument.

Limasac, a Talibon native, was then able to grab hold of a knife which he used to stab Linaban multiple times.
