A drug stash nearly worth P1 million was seized by operatives of the Tagbilaran City police’s anti-narcotics unit in a drug raid on Wednesday morning.
In a report, police said that the Tagbilaran City Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated 60 grams of suspected shabu from the house of suspect Anthony Logrono in Barangay Tiptip.
The seized drugs were estimated to be worth P900,000.
According to SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay who led the raiding team, Logrono was recently included in the DEU’s list of priority drug targets.
The Tagbilaran police set the raid in motion against Logrono after obtaining information on the suspect’s alleged illegal drug operations.
Authorities then served a search warrant issued by Judge Suseso Arcamo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 47 in Tagbilaran City.
Logrono is now detained at the Tagbilaran City lock-up jail while police are set to file a criminal complaint against him for illegal drug possession.
