The ship boarded by the 200-man 2nd Special Forces under Lt. Col. Gaspar Panopio to their new assignment in Eastern Mindanao Command after a 7-yr stint here. The 47th Infantry Battallion of the Philippine Army from Negros arrived here to replace the force. Lt. Gen Nicanor Vivar, presided the turnover rites last Thursday.
