AirAsia Philippines on Tuesday renewed its collaboration with the provincial government of Bohol as the province’s official partner in the “Behold Bohol” tourism campaign.
Both parties introduced a promo fare of P1,990 for one-way trips to Bohol as part of the extended partnership which was sealed by the signing of a memorandum of agreement at Amorita Resort in Panglao.
The contract signing was led by Provincial Administrator Alfonso Damalerio III and AirAsia CEO Dexter Comendador.
“Now we seek to take Bohol to new heights not only in the Philippines but also in the whole of ASEAN,” said Comendador.
The partnership is part of the provincial government’s efforts to boost its tourism campaign.
“This will help Bohol, not only in area of tourism but in the area of business and other investment of opportunities…” Damalerio said.
According to AirAsia, promo period started on Tuesday and will end on Sunday. Travel period will be from Nov. 1, 2018 until May 31, 2019.
AirAsia Philippines, the domestic unit of the Malaysian budget carrier giant AirAsia Berhad, is on its third year as Bohol’s airline partner.
