Include the Tricycle Drivers right at the Port and airport barking innocent tourists. They can see
how these drivers manage to negotiate the highest fare for the shortest trip. Only in Bohol.
This looks amazing to tourists also.

Seriously, a government agency shall control these drivers. I suggest tourists can buy Tokens or coupon
at the welcome both and these would to be used as payment to tricycles or even taxis.

The Trisikal drivers at the pier – they want 150 pesos to go to the mall and refuse to even offer anything close to a reasonable price.. Where is Baba Yap – you want Tagbilaran to be the gateway to Bohol – then clean up your Tricikle drivere – #4073 was the one who tried to trick me into paying 150 pesos to ICM mall – then when I offered 50 pesos he refused and made me walk all way to the road.. Thank God the airport will be in Panglao so we can avoid the stinky fume ridden, trisikal monopolized tagbilaran City – so much for your Gateway to Tourism – more like “Gateway to embarrassment”.. Oh and before anyone comments its even worse at the Airport with the heckles from the drivers there all pretending to offer cheap driving..

We are sorry for your sad experience. What the driver did was truly unethical and overpriced.

      Criteria for fare:
Some drivers charges baggage, number of persons and distance traveled. Pier to ICM falls into a special trip category and rate is on round trip basis. Pier to BQ is charged base on one way because that’s where the businesses clusters.

In your next visit, from pier, walk or take a short ride to Marcela. 20 pesos would be the max fare if you are alone. From Marcela to ICM take a multicab 8 pesos would be the fare. That would be time consuming.

” Every time I took public vehicle, I always think that I’m able to help in my little ways not as dole outs; even if I’m just a minimum wage earner. ” Knowing they have lots of stomach to feed, my heart melts only to dedicated drivers who are righteous and does not aim to outwit me.
