It was a three in one celebration for the University of Bohol as it commemorated its 45th Charter Day vis-à -vis launched the Senior High School Program and the UB Foundation for Research and Development Studies, Inc. last Friday at the university gymnasium.
Lawyer Nuevas T. Montes, university president, led the school officialdom, employees and students in the formal opening of this year’s  charter day celebration program. On the same occasion, the university formally launched the Senior High School Program  witnessed by Supt. Virginia C. Zapanta of the Tagbilaran City Division, Dr. HerminildaGracio , education supervisor I, representing Supt. Wilfreda G. Bongalos of the Division of Bohol, Mr. JovenalCagas, senior education specialist of Tagbilaran City Division, different industry partners,  Grade 10 students of Dr. CecilioPutong National High School, Victoriano D. Tirol-Advanced Learning Center and the University High School. The schoolalso launched its  UB Foundation for Research and Development Studies, Inc.
After the program, a knowledge and skills festival showcasing the different colleges and departments entertained the Grade 10 students with  a bit of a university experience during the guided campus tour. A research forum was also held in the afternoon at the VDT-ALC mini theatre right after the blessing of the facility.
As finale, the UB employees painted the night red as they enjoyedtheir Christmas program at the university quadrangle. (labboncales)
