A drug suspect recently released after entering a plea bargaining agreement was again arrested, along with two of his alleged cohorts in the drug trade, during a police operation in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The alleged drug dealer, identified as Cloyd “King Kong” Tagab, 30, of Lila town was apprehended by police operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch along Rizal Street in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.
Tagab allegedly sold shabu worth P1,000 to a poseur-buyer.
According to police, Tagab was being monitored by police in Lila prompting him to move his operations in Tagbilaran City.
The Lila Police Station sought the assistance of the PIB which on Tuesday night spotted Tagab as he was allegedly selling shabu in Barangay Cogon.
During the anti-drug operation at past 1 a.m. Wednesday, police transacted with Tagab but it was companion identified as Teofilo Rosales, 25, who handed over the drugs to police.
The operatives also arrested Rosales along with one Anthony Roxas, 21, who was with the two alleged drug dealers during the buy-bust.
All three remained in the custody of the Bohol Provincial Police Office pending the filing of charges against them. (WM)
