The bible also warns, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars…,” “For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom…”

The long rivalry between the two regional powers had finally come to a crisis point. Some analysts say the hostilities between Saudi and Iran have nothing to do with the Sunni-Shia division.

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia endeavors to create a new Sunni-dominated “Islamic military alliance” devoted to fighting global terrorism.

By executing 47 terrorists,Saudi sought to fill the vacuum in the leadership of the Arab world.

But Saudi attempts could harm the delicate international coalition against ISIS, and Shia-Sunni violence could increase.

Without a true security to keep Saudi and Iran from fightingfurther, more insecurity, more competition and more sectarianism could result.

The US cutback from the region caused the regional rivalry. As Gulf Cooperation Council members in times of tension, the US and Britain’s modus operandi are military exercises.

The Iran-Saudi break is a real test.2016 seems to be another tough year.
