A total of 18 Boholanos passed the 2018 Bar examinations, based on results released by the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday afternoon.
The Boholano Bar passers are the following:

- Ariel Ramirez
- Gerson Gamas
- Renuel Napiere
- Joyce Marie Marapao
- Filoryn Talo
- Carlos Alfonso Amores
The new Boholano lawyers graduated from various universities including the Holy Name University, University of Bohol, University of San Carlos, Ateneo de Manila University and the University of Santo Tomas (UST), among others.
According to the SC, 1,800 of the 8,158 examinees passed the 2018 Bar Examination, marking a passing rate of 22.07 percent.
A law graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University, Sean James B. Borja, topped the exams.
He registered a passing rate of 89.306 percent.
The exams were administered during the four Sundays of November last year at UST.
Meanwhile, SC Associate Justice Mariano Del Castillo, 2018 Bar Exam Chairman, announced that the oathtaking of the successful Bar examinees will be held on June 13 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), while the Signing of the Rolls of Attorney will start on June 14.
