A nine-year-old boy was injured following a minor accident between two buses in Maribojoc on Tuesday afternoon.
The boy sustained minor injuries but was still taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to Maribojoc Police Sgt. Neil Arocha, the boy was on board a Garsuta Transit bus which was bound for Tagbilaran City.
The brakes of the Garsuta bus, which was stalled at an uphill portion of the road in Barangay Aligway, malfunctioned causing it to slide down and hit a trailing Southern Star bus.

Arocha said that both buses collided. Upon impact, the boy was thrown away injuring his leg.
No other passengers and the two drivers of both buses were uninjured.
