A drug offender released last month after entering into a plea bargaining agreement and two others were arrested for sale and possession of shabu during a police anti-drug operation at a resort in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night.
Enrico Mercedes, 43, his alleged cohort in the drug trade Jade Gordoncillo, 27, and one of his buyers Jessie Aparicio, 34, were collared inside the Coralandia Resort through a drug buy-bust operation carried out by the Bohol police Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB).
In a report, police said that Mercedes dealt with the poseur-buyer while it was Gordoncillo who handed over the shabu and received the money.
Police immediately apprehended both alleged drug dealers and also Aparicio who was with the duo during the operation.
According to authorities, they seized from the three suspects a total of 12 grams of shabu which were estimated to be worth P81,600 based on the value set by the Dangerous Drugs Board.
They are now under police custody as charges were prepared agains them. Mercdedes and Gordoncillo will be charged with sale and possession of illegal drugs, while Aparecio will face a drug possession case. (wm)
