The Department of Interior and Local Government reminds barangay officials about this as the government sets up the mechanism for residents in the barangays to review the performance of elected barangay officials and allows them to push for programs and projects that would redound to the barangay’s development.
The holding of the SBA is in accordance with Presidential Proclamation 260 series of 2011, reasoned out Josie Montes, Local Government Operations Officer V of the Bohol DILG provincial Office.
