A man tagged as a high-value drug target by the police and his alleged cohort in the drug trade were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Tubigon.
The operation’s target, Daniel De Vera, 36, and one Exelito Ytac, 43, were allegedly caught in possession of shabu worth P108,800 during a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Intelligence Branch and the Tubigon Police Station in Barangay Cahayag on Tuesday.
In a report, police said that De Vera sold shabu worth P500 to a poseur-buyer resulting in his apprehension.
Ytac who was with De Vera during the operation was also taken into police custody after he was allegedly caught in possession of shabu.
Both men are now detained at the Tubigon lock-up jail and are set to be charged with violations against the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
