A convenience store in Panglao fell prey to armed robbers at dawn on Tuesday.
Junrey Gumapac, owner of the JJAPs Convenience Store in Barangay Tawala, told police that the robbers barged into his establishment and carted away P20,000 and three mobile phones.
Based on a footage obtained from a closed-circuit television camera (CCTV) mounted inside the store, there were two lookouts right outside the door while another went straight to the cashier and held him at gunpoint.
The armed suspect then declared a holdup and took the cash and gadgets.
According to Gumapac, the three men fled on board a white XRM motorcycle with no plate number towards an unknown direction.
Meanwhile, police have launched a hot pursuit operation against the suspects. (C. Remolador)
