Cash assistance and relief goods from Bohol have been delivered to the Archdiocese of Davao which has opened its relief action center to assist the thousands of earthquake victims in Mindanao.
The “Tabang Mindanao” project of The Bohol Chronicle and station DYRD brought smiles of consolation as the quake victims saw the wing-van of Alturas Group of Companies unloading relief goods consisting of clothes, blankets, towels, sacks of rice, slippers and toys at the Relief Center of the archdiocese.

The cash donation of P851,789.00 was wired to the Archdiocese of Davao while the in-kind donations were received by Fr. Bong Dublan, director of the archdiocese’s Social Action Center.
For his part, Boholano Archbishop Romulo Valles thanked the donors of the fund and relief assistance project of the Bohol-based twin media enterprise.
DYRD reporter Jun “Alerto” Guiterrez personally turned over the relief assistance to the archdiocese.
