Congressman Rene Lopez Relampagos of the First District of Bohol urge Boholanos to visit our tourism sites this summer.

“We Boholanos, as one province, have the big responsibility of making our tourism industry alive and lively,” Relampagos explained.  “It is our shared duty to promote the beauty of our province to the country and to the world.”

The lawmaker, who sits as Chairman of the House Committee on Tourism, encouraged everyone to “discover our province.  Visit our different tourism sites.”

Relampagos also emphasize the important role of social media in the Visit Bohol 2015 Campaign.

“We need to maximize our social media in order to give Bohol the attention it rightfully deserves.  We need to market Bohol as a premier eco-tourism destination and what better way to start than through our social media accounts.  A post or a snap shot, by one click, can go as far.”

“The provincial government can do just as much when it comes to promoting our province in line with our recent tourism campaign.  We need the full participation of our people,” said Relampagos. “No one can best promote our province than us.  We can never be effective in helping promote Bohol as a destination unless we experience what our province can offer.”
