The Bohol Sandugo Agri-Food Fair showcasing the Boholano Agricultural products and favorite Boholano delicacies will open on Tuesday and will end on Saturday at the Plaza Rizal, this city.

Governor Edgar M. Chatto will once again inspire the Boholanos and guests after he will administer the oath-taking of the Bohol Micro Agri-Processors for Development (Bohol MADe) officers.

Vice Governor Dionisio D. Balite and Director Angel C. Enriquez, Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) will give their message while the three Bohol solons, Rep. Rene L. Relampagos of the 1^st District, Rep. Erico Aristotle C. Aumentado of the 2^nd District, and Rep. Arthur C. Yap of the 3^rd District will deliver their messages of support.

Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Larry M. Pamugas will do the acknowledgment of guests and participants after Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell L. Yap II could give the welcome message.

The ribbon cutting and opening of exhibits for the Agri-Food Fair 2016 will be done at the Plaza Rizal which is the center of the activities, right after the preliminary program.

Bearing the theme “Bol-anong Agrikultura Sa Organikong Sistema Maoy Haum Sa Modernong Pahanon,” the daily activity will be savored by different contests to include the “Pinaka” (agricultural products) and so with the product demonstrations.

The Research and Support Services (RASS)/Organic Agriculture Day will be in the afternoon of July 12; Crops and Agribusiness Day on July 13; Fisheries Day on July 14; and Livestock Day on July 15.

The selling of the products which are cheaper compared to the prevailing prices in the wet markets will continue on July 16, 2016.

The winners of the contests will be awarded during the closing and awarding program 3 p.m. of July 15 at the Plaza Rizal.
