Change indeed has come. All eyes are now on President Rodrigo Duterte as he pursuesto fulfill his promises.

The war on drugs is already being felt nationwide. Numbers of slain drug pushers rose butmore people are also surrendering to local government units.

Narco cops are exposed and drug lords offer “billions” for his head, but President Duterte said,“I’m confident that God will decide everything,if God does not want me to die, I will not die.”

While Foreign Secretary Yasay said, dispute over sovereignty at South China Sea is a “generational issue” and would not be solved for many years. The Philippines for the meantime is willing to share natural resources with China working for a joint benefit.

The Aviation Security Group commander also assured yesterday, travelers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport are now safe from the bullet planting scam.“Tanim bala” modus operandi is now a thing of the past.

It may seem too good to be true but changes are being implemented in all departments of government such as the Bureau of Customs which aims to reduce time for processing and releasing imported shipments to five working hours.

President Duterte said, “I abhor secrecy and instead advocate transparency, in all government contracts, projects and business transactions, from submission of proposals, to negotiation, to perfection and finally to consummation. Do them and we will work together; Do not do them, we will part sooner than later.”

There are some who remain to be critics but what is beneficial than to support for the betterment of all.
