The grand homecoming of Boholanos from all over the country will be launched today in what will now be known as the “Tigum Bolanon sa Tibuok Pilipinas (TBTP).

Rene Tagaan, designated chair of the TBTP committee told The Chronicle that today’s launching will be historic since hosting of TBTP will regularly be done starting in this year’s Sandugo.  He said that since TBTP complements with the “Tigum Bolanon sa Tibuok Kalibutan” (TBTK), the activity aims to generate more “domestic” homecomers on years when TBTK is hosted in the province.

The homecomers will be treated to a welcome “painit” at the National Museum – Bohol branch at 8:30 this morning and lunch at the Bohol Cultural Center. Tomorrow evening will be a dinner fellowship at the Be Grand Hotel tomorrow starting at 6 in the evening,

Boholano actor Cesar Montano will arrive tomorrow for the TBTP event. He will render songs during the dinner fellowship together with Joey Abando, soloist of the popular Boy Friends.

The formal launching will be conducted this morning during the commemorative program at the Bohol Cultural Center.

Today’s launching will be attended by the representatives of the various Boholano associations in the country.

Initially, the participating associations during this year’s TBTP  launching are the Boholanos Association of Metro Manila (BAMMI), Anda Manila Residents Employees Association (AMREA), Kaliwat Bol-anon sa Iligan (KABOLIG), Valencia Manila Residents Association (VAMMANREA) , Loboc Association of Metro Manila, Inc. (LAMMI) and Carmenhanon Association (COLNEMTAHAR)

Registration of P750 only will entitle each homecomer a welcome “painit,” lunch at the Bohol Cultural Center and dinner at the Be Grand Resort in Panglao tomorrow evening. The registration includes a TBTP t-shirt.
