A 16-year-old girl believed to have been raped by three men earlier this month has been exhibiting severe personality changes due to the incident causing police probe on the case to slacken.
The victim, Mikaela (not her real name), a 10th grade student of a private school in Loon, is now reportedly being observed by a psychiatrist due to behavioral changes after the suspected rape.

According to the Women and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD) of the Loon police station, the rape happened on October 12 at an abandoned area in Barangay Cogon Norte of said town.
A man has been pinpointed by authorities as a person of interest in relation to the case.
However, police have not been able to issue complete details on the incident as they have yet to talk to the victim at length due to her present condition.
Based on previously gathered information, police noted that Mikaela was in Maribojoc for a party hours prior to the alleged rape.
She was then reportedly accompanied by three men on board a motorcycle supposedly to take her home but the suspects took her to a secluded area where they raped her.
The victim purportedly lost consciousness and was under the influence of alcohol during the incident.
According to the Loon WCPD, Mikaela was “not herself” when they interviewed her while all she could say was “nganong gibiyaan ko.”
Authorities also noted that Mikaela was in normal mental state prior to the alleged rape.
The victim has already been subjected to a medical examination to determine if she was indeed raped but results have yet to be released.

Meanwhile, police investigators are still awaiting a go-signal from doctors on when they can interview the victim as part of their ongoing probe. (A. Doydora)
