Three suspects, two women and one man, allegedly stole P189,000 and gold jewelry from a female flower shop owner in Tagbilaran City on Thursday, police said.
Authroities identified the victim as Ruffa Dumayaca, 42, of Barangay Taloto in Tagbilaran City.
According to Dumayaca who owns Analyn Fruit and Flowers Stand inside City Square, the three suspects went inside the store together.
The two women allegedly stood near her covering her view of her bag which she left on top of the counter while she was attending to customers, Dumayaca said.
While Dumayaca was busy talking to customers, the male suspect then grabbed and stole the bag.

Dumayaca told police that her bag contained cash and several pieces of gold jewelry including two bracelets, three necklaces and six rings.

For his part, SPO1 Selvan Palacio of the Tagbilaran City police theft and robbery section said that police officers have been assigned to conduct a follow-up investigation on the case. (WM)
